The style guides on this site (brand comparisons, how-to pieces, buying advice) are written by the Squalo Roma team. This page explains how we source the facts in them, so a reader can check our work.

Pricing

Every competitor price in these guides comes from that brand's own website or an authorized retailer, checked at the time of writing. Prices change; we date our research and update a guide when we catch a price that has moved. If you find one that is out of date, tell us and we will fix it.

Product links

We only link to Squalo Roma products that are in stock at the time of publishing. If a piece sells out, we take the link down rather than send you to a dead page. This is checked automatically each time a guide is published or updated.

Comparing other brands

When we write about another brand, we name it accurately and describe what it actually sells, at its actual price. We do not use competitor photos or logos, and we do not claim an affiliation that does not exist. Where a brand is a genuinely different tier or category (full bespoke tailoring, for example) we say so plainly instead of forcing a comparison that would not hold up.

What we do not do

We do not publish invented reviews, invented measurements, or invented before-and-after claims. We do not manufacture urgency (fake stock counts, fake countdown timers). Squalo Roma is Italian design; the company is based in the United States and does not claim Italian manufacture. Returns on everything we sell are 14 days, plainly stated wherever we mention it.

Corrections

If something in a guide is wrong, out of date, or unclear, write to us at the contact page and we will correct it. We do not quietly edit a published price or claim without a reason; if we change something material, the guide's date reflects the update.
