SQUALO ROMA - SHIPPING POLICY
At SQUALO ROMA, we strive to ensure that your orders are processed and delivered efficiently. Below are the details regarding our shipping policy, including processing times, delivery options, and specific restrictions for different regions.
Order Processing
- All orders will be processed starting 24 business hours after receiving the confirmation email.
- Local Orders will be Deliverd within 3 business days.
- Delivery times indicated below account for the period from courier pickup to final delivery.
- Pre-orders, declined orders, and pending orders are excluded from the stated delivery times.
Shipment Notification
- Once the order is dispatched, customers will receive an email with the tracking number and a direct link to monitor the shipment status.
Domestic Shipping (Sri Lanka)
- All orders within Sri Lanka will be shipped through Citypak or Royal Express.
Shipping to Italy
BRT Standard ECON Courier
- Standard Delivery (€7.90): Delivery within 48 business hours after the shipment is picked up by the courier.
- Free Delivery (FREE over €65.00): Delivery within 48 business hours after the shipment is picked up by the courier.
International Shipping
Shipping to EU Countries
- FedEx/DPD Standard ECON: Starting from €10.90, with delivery within 3-5 business days after the shipment is picked up by the courier.
- DHL Express ECX (Only EU): Starting from €27.00, with delivery within 24 business hours after the shipment is picked up by the courier.
Shipping to Non-EU Countries
- DHL Express WPX: Starting from €28.50*, with delivery within 3-5 business days after the shipment is picked up by the courier. (*Valid on selected countries only.)
UPON DELIVERY
Upon delivery of every order, customers are asked to inspect the box carefully BEFORE signing for the delivery. If for any reason the box looks tampered with, either sign for the package with reservations or refuse the package. In the event that the box has been signed for with an unauthorized signature or there is evidence that the package has been tampered with, open a claim immediately with the courier and contact our customer care team
Any claims regarding damages, missing merchandise, and/or delivery to the wrong address, must be forwarded to us within 3 days from the order’s delivery date, otherwise, the claim cannot be accepted.
If the package is not successfully delivered to the customer’s address due to a lack of cooperation from the customer (wrong telephone number, wrong address, absent at address, non-compliance with import regulations) the package may risk being sent back to Italy at the customer’s expense including any import fees that may be imposed upon re-entering Italy. These fees will be deducted from the refund.
Please note, couriers do not provide service (deliveries and pick-ups) on the following Italian bank holidays:

IMPORT TAXES AND CUSTOMS FEES
For specific areas and Extra EU Countries, shipments may suffer delays due to customs blocks in import or export. The delivery time shown doesn't take customs blocks into account. SQUALO ROMA is not responsible in any case for customs duty blocks as every country has its own regulations regarding import/export commerce. Duty taxes are applied from the single country Customs Office, for this reason, we are not able to provide or foresee the relative amounts. Please contact Customs Office in your country for further information. The payment of these import taxes is sole responsibility of the customer who has to provide the payment of the amount upon delivery. If the customer is not willing to pay these fees, the shipment cannot be delivered and it will be returned to the sender charging the return shipping costs to the customer. SQUALO ROMA won't be able to refund any amounts regarding Customs duties or import taxes. All orders with extra EU destinations will be shipped with a detailed invoice reporting the real value of the goods in Euro.
IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR UK BASED CUSTOMERS
From January 1st, 2022, customs controls organized in stages for entry into the United Kingdom ended and were replaced by a full border control regime which must be fulfilled for the movement of goods to and from Great Britain. Please note that there are different rules for Northern Ireland.
In particular, all importations of goods having a declared value greater than £135,00 are subject to the imposition of import duties. Customers are responsible for paying these fees. SQUALO ROMA is in no way responsible for the imposition of Customs duties, not linked to any shipping costs paid and applied directly by the British government following Brexit.
Refunds for customs duties and import taxes cannot be provided under any circumstance. In case of refusal of the package upon delivery, the shipment will be returned to the sender with costs charged to the customer who will receive a refund possibly reduced by the unpaid amount due for import taxes. IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR TURKEY BASED CUSTOMERS
As of May 1st, 2022, the upper limit for personal shipments entering Turkey has been reduced from €1500,00 to €150,00. Therefore, all shipments with greater value are not subject to simplified customs clearance. All orders greater than €150,00 cannot be dispatched thus will be automatically canceled.
PLEASE NOTE: Please make sure to provide a valid phone number to be contacted by the courier in case of problems with the shipment. A telephone number is compulsory. If not provided, the package could not be delivered and returned back with costs at the customer's charge.
