Sand shade is very wearable
The sand color is clean without being too pale. It works with polos, shirts and even a blazer, so these have become an easy holiday trouser.

Proper high rise
Finally trousers that actually sit at the natural waist. Shirts stay tucked and the pleats fall nicely instead of pulling across the front.

Clean waist, great drape
The Gurkha waistband is the reason I bought these and it looks even better in person. The rise sits properly at the waist, the pleats give room without looking baggy, and the leg tapers neatly over loafers.

Sharp without a belt
Really like that these do not need a belt. The side tabs make the fit easy to adjust and the fabric feels cooler than normal cotton trousers. I will hem them slightly for a cleaner break.

The cut is exactly what I wanted: high rise, clean taper, no belt loops. The inseam is long, so expect a small trip to the tailor if you want no break.

No. The waistband is a wraparound self-fabric band with side-tab adjusters. It is designed to be worn without a belt.
